Flip a Coin
Use this coin flipper to play heads or tails fairly and randomly.
Instructions
Click on Flip or on the coin to initiate the toss. Once it stops, the result (heads or tails) will be displayed in text below the coin to avoid any confusion.
Fun fact
Children in Ancient Rome used to entertain themselves with the same game, with the difference that they would say capita aut navim or caput aut navis, meaning head or ship because the coin had a human head with two faces on one side and a ship on the other, and sometimes a garland, symbolizing the head of Janus and the ship with which this deity or hero is believed to have introduced the use of metal coins to Italy.
